RATED: PG-13

FAMILY MOVIE SCALE: 7

MAIN CAST: Helen Hunt,Bill Paxton, Cary Elwes

IMDB Story Line
Bill and Jo Harding, advanced storm chasers on the brink of divorce, must join together to create an advanced weather alert system by putting themselves in the cross-hairs of extremely violent tornadoes.

WHAT I LIKED
This was a fun movie, A love story mixed with the weather and disaster. Comedy mixed with a little heartache. Action and drama flying cows and the list goes on.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
To me the experiment they where trying to do had too many unexplained failed attempts. I don't understand why they could not have had a better explanation of the system.

SIDE NOTES
The movie had light sexual innuendos in the first half, but it could still be a family movie, however some people might disagree with that and that is perfectly understandable. Even with it's faults I gave the movie a 10 on IMDB

WHAT I LIKED
I really liked the the movie made you feel that this was not earth any more and that your all alone feeling, even when the full crew was alive, I liked the believably of the story line and the robot dog. I liked the exploration of the red planet, and the green like bugs they found.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
I was over all pretty happy with the movie, and did nit find any faults worth complaining about.

SIDE NOTES
Movie was rated a well deserved PG-13, this movie could be a great family movie adventure. It can be intense and may scare younger viewers. I gave this movie a 7, while it is a great movie it does not rate with my favorite SyFy movies.

MOVIE REVIEW: Beyond Skyline

RELEASE DATE: December 15th 2017

RUN TIME: 1 hour 46 min

DIRECTOR: Liam O'Donell

MAIN CAST: Frank Grillo, Bojana Novakovic, Jonny Weston

IMDB Story Line

A tough-as-nails detective embarks on a relentless pursuit to free his son from a nightmarish alien warship.

WHAT I LIKED

Is that it was much better then the 2010 movie Skyline. The movie has a great plot, The actors did a much better job of delivering a story line that you could understand. Action was good. Some of the things I did not like in the first move was done much better.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE

There was some moments I thought that did not needed to be in the film, and slight over acted parts that made you ask why.

SIDE NOTES

This movie was rated R and I thought it could be a PG-13, However it's not a family movie because of intense SY-FY action and violence and slight foul language. Here is a link to my review of the first Skyline, I gave this movie a 6 on IMDB.

MOVIE REVIEW: Tremors 5:Bloodlines

RELEASE DATE: October 6th 2015
RUN TIME: 1 HOUR 39 MIN

DIRECTOR: Don Micheal Paul

MAIN CAST: Brandon Auret, Natalie Baker, Emmanuel Castis, Michael Gross

IMDB Story linert

The giant, man-eating Graboids are back and even deadlier than before, terrorizing the inhabitants of a South African wildlife reserve as they attack from below-and above.

WHAT I LIKED

I loved the monster action, the bugs/worm things did not seem as intense as previous movies but they did send a few chills and very aggressive. I also like that part of the story line of  Burt still surviving the past movies and having his own reality show. for some reason that just seem to fit his character. Yes it was cheesy but it made the movie fun.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE.

Yes I did say the cheesy parts made the movie fun, but the part where Burt was captured and  put in a cage was almost to much for me and I almost turned off the movie. If you can make it past that part the rest is ok. I recommend just fast forwarding past that part. And I though some parts resembled other favorite movies and popular movie franchises.

SIDE NOTES:

The movie was rated PG-13, and that was very fair because monsters eating and killing people.
I can in no way recommend this as a family movie, but if your family loves man eating monsters then by all means knock your self out and enjoy. I gave the movie a 5 on the IMDB rating Scale.

MOVIE REVIEW: Cowboys and Aliens

RELEASE DATE: July 29th 2011

DIRECTOR: Jon Favreau

MAIN CAST:Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde

IMDB Story line

A spaceship arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region. A posse of cowboys and natives are all that stand in their way.

WHAT I LIKED

Is that this was a thinking out of the box fun western SCI-FI movie. This was bigger then a shoot out at high noon behind the OK Corral. This was survival. This movie tells the movie goer that know matter how much advanced weapons you have, sometimes you have to think like a cowboy to win. I really like the quality of the actors. That for me made this movie a success and come together.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE

The movie was considered a flop at the box office, but not every movie made can be considered Oscar worthy. To me it was a great quality movie. It was not one of my all time favorites but I enjoyed it. So there was nothing I really did not like.

SIDE NOTES

I did see the movie in the theater and bought the Blue Ray. It was given a weak rating of PG-13. I think this could be a great adventures family movie depending on your family values. I gave the movie a 10 on the IMDB scale
