WHAT I LIKED

I have watched Brad Pitt play so many roles, I really like seeing him as a business man. I seen a style in his character that I am sure was always there but never understood. I seen the maturity in his acting. Maybe I never payed close attention to his acting before, bit this movie brought something out in him I never witnessed before. He was a vampire in "Interview with a Vampire" more less a care free cowboy in "legends of the Fall" and a hero in "Troy" a detective in "Seven" all great movies, but just something I can't explain in Moneyball that I really enjoyed. If anyone else was cast as Billy Beane, chances are I would have not given this movie a chance. Besides Brad Pitt's performance , it also gives a great behind the scene look at what it takes to build a Baseball team.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE

As a life long Cleveland resident, it kinda broke my heart that he found his assistant Peter Brand (Jonah Hill) in Cleveland, If you know anything about Cleveland sports , you might understand. If we get anything great it goes away, however in the case of LeBron James, he came back but only after winning three championship rings. But That is the only thing I had a against the movie

Movie was rated a very fair PG-13, mild foul langue. could be a family movie.

I gave the movie a 10 on IMDB, I truly wished I had seen this on the big screen, I did buy it on Blue ray

#ALLforCLEVE , IS IT NOW CLEVELANDS TURN?

I have lived in Cleveland all my life and I have never witnessed anything like what I am seeing in this city today. The Cleveland Indians last won a World Series in 1948. The Cleveland Browns last won a Championship in 1964, but have never won a Super Bowl. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been to the playoffs many times and in 2007 the went to the NBA Finals and where swept 0-4 by the San Antonio Spurs.

Cleveland has been the butt of many jokes, the lake that caught fire, the mayors hair caught fire , the 1954 Cleveland Indians that was the most winning team in MLB, but was swept by the New York Giants 0-4. And in recent history it's been The Decision, The Drive, The Shot, The Fumble , It has been heart breaking to be a True Cleveland Sports fan, and I can not consider myself a true fan because of my lashing out at the teams and Cleveland in a unprofessional way a few years ago. I just did not understand why the fans hung on to what seems to be impossible for this area. Cleveland sometimes seems like it's own worst enemy. They have had their share of being ugly fans, but their loyalty and unrelenting support for the home teams is aggravating.  Because of economic hard times in Cleveland the city has been picking and choosing what teams they support, while the Cleveland Indians have not been in the playoffs , they have not been that bad of a team, however they have not been selling out, but the struggling Browns have sold out all games.

But it is a new day in Cleveland Ohio, Lebron James is back and the heart of Cleveland is on fire. They are celebrating in San Francisco for the World Series. But the party is in Cleveland and the world knows it. The King has been forgiven and I truly feel that a Cleveland sports team understands the chase for a championship and it's not next year, it could very well be this year. There is a charge in the air.
