Avengers: Infinity War Is The Best Superhero Movie in Cinematic History!
I went to see the movie at my all time favorite Cinemark Theater in Valley View, Ohio. I seen it in regular 2D, but it would have been a great movie to see in 3D XD, but I am on a budget, the movie Club helps keep prices down, but for my family of three I went 2D. Cinemark is always a great experience no matter how you see it.
I don't think there has ever been a better meaner villain in TV Cinematic history then Thanos and this movie makes it clear why Marvel has better movie adaptions then DC. Don't get me wrong I still love DC movies and will go to the theater to see them.
Never have I witnessed such a battle between the good and bad guy, this was all out war.You felt the pain of your heroes, you cried and laughed with them. And this was only Part I of the war.
I don't want to give any spoilers away and refuse to do so. But in four weeks I am going to write about all that happened and talk in detail about questions I have and discuss possible fan theories.
There is a lot to talk about. THERE WILL BE MAJOR SPOILERS,

My Thoughts on "The Walking Dead" Season 8
It was good to see Ricks group finally fight back. However they suffered heavy loses. King Ezekiel lost his pet tiger Shiva. I felt so bad for him. It seemed to impact him the rest of the season, he was different.
Negan was Negan but I believe he lost his leadership ability over his group. he was still a jerk but he could not use his style of intimidation to lead and each episode he lost a little more, but I was still on guard for him to strike back hard. it never happened.
They fight went on and on and I am still not sure about the story of Jadis. I believe Jadis was about Jadis and keeping her group safe but Eugene fixed that and I was upset with myself that I felt bad for her which means there has to be more to her.
But in episode 8 "How it's Gotta Be" all of our hearts where ripped out when Carl got bit. We all hoped this was not the end, but in episode 9 "Honor" Carl died. I cried like a baby when Rick put his head on Carl shoulder and broke down at the end of epd 8. Carl wrote letters to everyone including Negan, but the one that impacted the season final was the one he wrote to his Dad, the one that made Rick decide to save Negan. I wanted to reach into the screen and beat Rick with Negan's bat myself.
e
But I have to question myself, was rick wrong to save Negan. Maggie seems to think so and it seems she will team up with Daryl to take down Rick. Is Maggie wrong or right? Am I team Rick or Maggie? Will season 9 be the last season for Rick or Maggie or both?
Carl's Death has impacted the future of the story more so then Negan Killing Glenn or Did Negan's action lead to Carl's Death? I have heard it said that season 8 will change the whole series and I believe that. I am curious to see whats next and how many more seasons the show will continue.

MOVIE REVIEW: Justice League
RELEASE DATE: November 17th 2017
DIRECTOR: Zack Synder
MAIN CAST: Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa
IMDB Story Line
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.
WHAT I LIKED
I like the dark edge that director Zack Synder brings to all of his movies, and he did it again in this movie. I thought the slow start added to the movie. I usually don't like slow starts but they did this well. It blended well with the whole story.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
If I could find a fault with this movie, it is the way they brought back Super Man, I would have liked to have a bigger celebration in his resurrection from the dead, but that may have gone against Zack Synders style and I would not want him to do something for public appeal.
SIDE NOTES
Movie received a well deserved PG-13 rating and if your family is into Super Heroes then this is a family movie. Foul Language was mild, I am not sure why this movie did so bad in the box office but people need to learn to enjoy the story and quit trying to re-imagine the story outside of the writers or directors vision. Die Hard fans can destroy a franchise by being nitpicks and refusing to look outside the box. They need to stop being over critical. I gave this movie a 10 on the IMDB movie scale

My Inside Look at Star Wars Timeline
One of my favorite coffee table discussions is the Star Wars Saga and time line. These story lines are debated with the same passion as any good TV series or movie franchise no matter if you love or hate them. For me I just want to enjoy the story good or bad and move on. Some fans say they say I will never watch again only to crawl back and see whats going on.
With that being said I want to inject some observances not just from me but from people I have talked to. I have been involved in some tense debates about the last two movies , the Force Awakens and Last Jedi.
In The Force Awakens I had problems with the way they killed off Han Solo. I mean his own Son killed him and threw him off the bridge, and the Han Solo story was over. To me that was a bit too brutal. It was like he was a old piece of garbage from yesteryear , lets dump him. As a fan of the original trilogy I knew they might kill him off, but I wanted a bit more going out in a blaze of glory for Han Solo. He was a big time smuggler that became a hero and he deserved a better send off then that.
Force Awakens takes place 30 years after the Empires Defeat and the death of Darth Vader and Darth Sidious. But 30 years later a new threat called the First Order is doing it again to them which pretty much wipes out all the victories of the resistance 30 years ago because they could not form a military to protect them from a bigger Death Star and what seems like a new powerful Sith called Snoke. And Kylo Ren is no Darth Vader. He seems to lack the discipline that his Grand Father had.
Now we come to the Last Jedi. For months and weeks before the Last Jedi, fans where asking who is Snoke? The mystery around him created a fan theory factory of daily out pouring of suggestions of his origins, But with one swift use of the force Kylo killed him, which makes me question my earlier statement that Kylo Ren is no Darth Vader. Will episode IX explain all this?
I will always be a fan of Star Wars, but I am concerned for the future of the story line. I liked Rogue One and I am looking forward to Solo and other Star Wars inspired stories, but there is a new trilogy in the works as we speak. If I am alive I will be watching in a theater and will buy the Blue Rays, unless they totally screw it up so badly that it hurts to watch

WHAT I LIKED:
Movie had a strong story line carried over from the 2013 movie, the sequel connected well. The action did not disappoint once it started. All plot points in the movie from beginning to end connected well, it did make a good story. Of course I loved the Jaeger and Kaiju fighting action.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE:
It seemed to me to take forever to get the story going. I was starting to get board half way into the movie, but things started to spark and I was engaged again. But it had to much back story for a squeal.
SIDE NOTES:
The movie received a fair PG-13 rating, depending on your family action movie standards this could be a great family movie, Younger kids might get board, I know the child in me did in the first hour. I did see this movie on the big screen and will buy the Blue Ray when it comes out. I gave this movie a 8 on the IMDB Rating scale

MOVIE REVIEW: Power Rangers (2017)
RELEASE DATE: March 24th 2017
DIRECTOR: Dean Israelite
MAIN CAST: Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler
IMDB Story Line:
A group of high-school students, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world.
WHAT I LIKED:
It was a fresh movie, It was good solid take on heroes. This was not your father Power Rangers but it can be your Power Rangers. They had good solid young actors to take the Power Rangers roles, however it did not do well at the box office, so a sequel does not look like a possibility at this point. I really liked Elizabeth Banks as Rita and Bryan Cranston as Zordon
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE:
They had to much origin story line and not enough Power Rangers, the team had to many problems coming together as a collective and working together, the Zorids where to in your face and reminded me of Transformers and Pacific Rim a little.
SIDE NOTES:
The Movie received a fair PG-13 rating and could be a good Family action movie, younger children may find some scenes to intense, I was expecting this movie to be horrible but it was a good solid movie. It was not perfect but enjoyable. I did not see it in the theater or buy the Blue Ray and have no plans to. I gave this movie a 6 on the IMDB scale

MOVIE REVIEW: Geostorm
RELEASE DATE: October 20 2017
When the network of satellites designed to control the global climate starts to attack Earth, it's a race against the clock for its creator to uncover the real threat before a worldwide Geostorm wipes out everything and everyone.
DIRECTOR: Dean Devlin
MAIN CAST: Gerald Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish
IMDB Story Line
WHAT I LIKED
It was a blowout disaster movie with great special effects, And Gerard Butler does not disappoint, and the cast did a great job delivering the story as written.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
I meant what I said Gerard Butler does not ever disappoint, but this movie was slow getting in to the story. What I disagreed with was that, no matter who is in control controlling the weather except God, it is wrong. I think the story line said that in a round about way, but did the average movie viewer see that?
SIDE NOTES
Movie got a well deserved PG-13, depending on your family standards, this could be a great family movie,I am reluctant to recommend it as one, because some parts could be confusing to the younger adults. I did not see the movie on the big screen, but I did buy the Blue ray because of cast and subject matter, and over all I do like it. I gave this movie a 6 on IMDB.
MOVIE REVIEW: The Titan
RELEASE DATE: March 30th 2018
DIRECTOR: Lennart Ruff
MAIN CAST: Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling, Arash Amel
In the near future, a military family uproot their lives so they can participate in a ground-breaking experiment to accelerate man’s genetic evolution. The goal? To relocate humanity to another planet and avoid extinction.
DIRECTOR: Lennart Ruff
MAIN CAST: Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling, Arash Amel
YouTube Netflix Story Line
WHAT I LIKED
I pretty much like anything Sam Worthington, I love to watch the was he brings out the character and anything he plays, he has a real talent. The story had a great flow. And For a science Fiction movie , the story did not depend on blow out special effects. It was more or less a story of moral responsibility. And it was simple but with limited detail.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
The ending left me hanging for the same reason I like the movie. I think they left to much to the imagination but it did not spoil the movie.
SIDE NOTES
Netflix gave this movie a rating of TV-MA which I would guess it would translate to a strong PG-13.
It had some brief strong language. Depending on your personal movie standards, I can recommend this as a family movie, but I highly recommend you watch it as a family the first time around because of suggestive themes. I gave this movie a 7 on IMDB.
