IMDB Story Line

The Earth's core has stopped spinning. Disasters are appearing all over the world: Birds acting crazy, powerful thunderstorms, 32 people die within seconds of each other when their pacemakers quit working. Dr. Josh Keyes and his crew of five (total members: 6) go down to the center of the Earth to set off a nuclear device to make the Earth's core start spinning again or Mankind will perish. WHAT I LIKED

The adventure of team work to fix the impossible, this story was about putting a problem that can not be fixed on the table bringing a team together and telling them to fix it it. Money is not a issue, but do we have the technology to fix this problem, bringing people together for the sake of the cause. It was a reluctant team that came together to fix a problem. If we could only have that in the real world.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE

I did not buy the ship design, they did not sell me that it was possible to build a ship like that. Yes it was SY-FY, but part of SY-FY writers responsibility is to trick you in to thinking it can be done. For me they failed on ship design.

Movie was rated PG-13, rating was fair because of intense scenes, this could be a good solid family movie

I have the DVD, did not have a chance to see it on the big screen
